Lavender Black Beans
1 cup of black beans, canned or cooked 1 Tablespoon dried lavender 1/4 cup molasses 3 cloves of garlic, minced Optional hot peppers, fresh or dried
Mix all ingredients and heat on the stove. Cook on low, about an hour adding water as needed until the flavors are thoroughly mixed.
This is good as a spread on crackers, with chicken, pork, or romaine lettuce in soft tacos.
